the letter from the Postmaster General to this Company

dated 2nd June 1888.

I attach herewith copy of a letter, addressed

by the Postmaster General at Colombo to the Company’s

Agent at that port, regarding the conveyance of the In-

dian mails, from which it would appear that it has again

been decided to revert to the all sea route to Bombay, and

that being the case I shall be glad to hear from you how

it is proposed that payment for this service shall be

effected.

I have etc,

(Sa) H.A.Ritchie.

Superintendent.
